Existing Users- Have you backed up any existing EndNote Libraries, EN files ?

It is recommended that you create a Compressed backup copy of existing EndNote libraries  prior to downloading a new version, even if you have been using the sync feature via EN online.

To Save a Compressed Library backup: (.enlx)

1. Open your EndNote Library

2.  Go to the File menu >>>Compressed Library

3. Name the .enlx file (ensure the file name is different) and save it to the location where you store your backups.
