Reading Lists

Reading Lists provide direct access to electronic readings and an easy way to find material on Reserve for a particular unit.

What is Reading Lists?

Reading Lists provide direct access to the reading materials for your unit. Materials include chapter scans, links to journal articles, ebooks, streaming media, websites, as well as links to the catalogue record for physical materials located within the library.

You can also find previous years exam papers listed in Reading Lists.

The University of Tasmania was announced runner up to the Talis University of the Year Award.  Talis is a reading list platform that has been implemented in 107 universities globally, predominately in Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, and the USA.

This was a well-deserved Award by the Library and Academic staff who have engaged so readily in the new reading list platform. Already our data is showing that for the number of lists created the student interaction is high and is exceeding some established Talis reading list users – a real credit to the team.  The Library will be participating in an international benchmarking pilot with Talis in the future.
