Module 5: Evaluating information

Not all information is suitable to use in your study and research. This module explains how to recognise publications that are appropriate for academic activities and gives some tips on how and where to find reliable sources.

When you complete Module 5, you should be able to:

1. Identify scholarly information for academic purposes. 
2. Differentiate between scholarly, professional/trade, grey and popular sources.
