Researcher Profiles and Identifiers

ORCID - Your Open Researcher & Contributor ID (ORCID) is a persistent digital identifier to connect you to your research output. Register yours, and add publications, craft your bio and link other profiles with this step-by-step guide from the UTAS Library.

Google Scholar - Google Scholar Citations provides a way for you to group all your publications that are indexed by Google Scholar. This enables others to find them easily when searching by author name, and helps calculate citation metrics. Create your profile, add publications and link your other profiles using this UTAS Library guide.

Scopus Author ID - If you're a published researcher and your articles are indexed in Scopus, you'll find this information about Scopus Author ID from the UTAS Research Identity guide useful to get the most out of the tool.

Publons (Researcher ID) - Another tool for published researchers is Publons, which compiles your Web of Science publications, citations and refereeing. The UTAS Research Identity guide walks you through the basic, including how to link your ORCID and Publons profiles.
