Research Identity

Tools to manage, track and report your Research Identity

What is Scopus Author ID?

Your Scopus Author ID allows you to track your publications indexed in the Scopus citation database and build metric reports. You can use Scopus to follow the outputs of other researchers and institutions and identify potential collaborators.

Manage your Scopus Author ID

Get started

Find your Scopus Author ID

A Scopus Author ID is automatically generated the first time one of your publications is indexed in Scopus.

In Scopus, search for your name or one of your indexed publications and go to your Author Details page (accessed by clicking on your name when it appears in a search results list, a source document details page, or a document details page).

n.b. Due to variant publishing names Scopus may generate multiple IDs for the same author. Ensure you merge all your IDs to optimize your citation metrics.

Update your Profile & Merge IDs

From your Author Details page, click on 'Request author detail corrections' to open the Author Feedback Wizard. Here you can review your profile and publication list and add alternative publishing names and other affiliations,

Connect to ORCID

From Scopus, search for one of your publications and go to your Author Details page (accessed by clicking on your name when it appears in a search results list, a source document details page, or a document details page) and then click on ‘Add to ORCID’. This will open the Scopus Author Feedback wizard.
