IDAHOBIT Day virtual display: Home

A message from Margaret Otlowski, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Culture, Wellbeing and Sustainability)

IDAHOBIT Day (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia) draws attention to the discrimination experienced by LGBTIQ+ people internationally. Celebrated on May 17, this international day of recognition is focused on building a better world for LGBTIQ communities.

In these unusual COVID-19 times, at UTAS, we are celebrating this important day virtually. This library display, kindly prepared by our dedicated library staff,  showcases the scholarship of our colleagues as well as a selection of other recent works and resources related to diverse genders and sexualities. Many thanks to our UTAS authors featured here for their continuing support of the LGBTIQ+ community.
