Finding Full-text

LibKey Nomad

Fast, one-click access to scholarly articles

UTAS Library provides access to LibKey Nomad, a browser extension connecting the library with subscribed or open access content as you do your research.

LibKey Nomad speeds up access to the full-text in databases like PubMed, Wikipedia, Scopus, and Web of Science and on publisher pages and many websites.

Read more about browser extensions and see other options for finding full-text.

Please note that the extension finds library resources. LibKey is unable to link to full-text if the library doesn't have access to that article or journal.

Installation in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave & Vivaldi is simple!

  1. Visit LibKey Nomad website and click the icon for your browser.
  2. Install the extension.
  3. Your browser will then ask you to confirm.
  4. Next choose your institution (University of Tasmania) in the LibKey interface.

LibKey Nomad is now installed.

How to use LibKey Nomad

Once installed, LibKey Nomad will appear in your search results where full-text is available. Look for the green tear drop:
