Step 1 - Get to know UTAS Libraries

The University Library network consists of six libraries in Hobart and two in Launceston, with a library and learning hub at the Cradle Coast Campus in Burnie. You can use all these libraries.

Step 2 - What's in the library?

Module 3: Catalogue search > What's in the library collection?

The library has a large collection of physical resources (objects you can touch) like:

  • books
  • DVD’s
  • videos
  • reports
  • microform
  • print journals
  • newspapers 

 

The library also provides on site access to electronic resources (resources you access via a computer) like:

  • electronic books (ebooks)
  • electronic journals (ejournals)
  • online encyclopedias
  • online dictionaries
  • CD-ROMs

On site access to electronic resources is available at each of the UTAS library locations.

 


 


Step 3 - When can we visit the library?

You are welcome to visit the library anytime!

As part of the Step Up program you will be given a tour of a UTAS library.
